THEME F we work upon marble, it will perish; if we work upon brass, time will efface it; if we rear temples, they will crumble into dust; but if we work upon immortal minds and imbue them with principles and with a just fear of God and love of their fellowmen, we engrave on those tablets something that will brighten to all eternity.” Time has always wrought its destructive forces upon the temples builded by man. But from within those temples, many long since crumbled into dust, has come forth eternal things,- knowledge, culture, art, character; the makings of a man.
