This requires Standing watches, swinging out boat booms, heaving lines, or lowering anchors over the Side. I .s Routine maintenance such as daily swab-downs, chipping and painting for looks and preservation are only a few ofthe many chores assigned these hard-working sailors, No rmal working hours means nothing for the First Division which is always on call. Rigging accommodation ladders and boat booms are done so rapidly that these items take on the appearance of yo-yo's. In short-rain or shine-they are on the line!

Za Daman Away the Officer's Personnel Boat is one of the many calls that beckons the men of the Second Division to duty. The thirty men of this division are keenly aware of their responsibility to maintain the Boat Deck 03 Deck, Ship's Stack, Incinerator, O1 and O2 Officer's Country, the Starboard and After Accommodation Ladder, Number Four and Five Mooring Lines, The Port Motor Whale Boat, Forty and Fifty Foot Utility Boats, Officer's Personnel Boat, Captain's Gig, and Boat Deck Crane.
