Tn Memoriam John F Kennedy IQILA9O3 © FABIAN BACHRACH Our nation continues to mourn the untimely deathon Friday, November 22, 1963 of John F, Kennedy, 35th President of the United States, President Kennedy believed in the dignity of the individual and the right of both men and nations to be free from oppression. He believed in peace as well as in freedom, and saw no conflict between the two, He believed in the creativity of the reality of hope. He loved life, He relished laughter and the vigorous life of the mind, He believed in thought. He recognized obligations to people not yet born - to help provide them with a decent world, The loss of our president is total only if we forget what he believed in and what he tried to do, The legacy of John F, Kennedy to the United States and to the world can be a great one if the people wish to be. ; cake ate SCUSRUERE EYP

Dedteation We consider it an honor to pay tribute to three of our teachers who have rendered in- valuable service to us as a Class, as well as to many other students, Their interest in students and their eager- ness to help them have endeared them to all who have come under their influence. Because they have helped and guided so many, we, the class of 1964, dedicate THE BEACON to Mrs, Thelma R, Winder, Mrs. Catherine W. Parsons, and Mrs, Mildred W, Webster. With it, we extend our expressions of grat- MRS, THELMA R, WINDER itude and appreciation. MRS, CATHERINE W, PARSONS MRS, MILDRED W, WEBSTER
