CHIPMAN Educated in the elementary and high schools of Salisbury, Maryland ; graudated from Virginia Industrial Institute and Virginia State College; attended Hampton Institute and Temple University; has served a s chair- man of Eastern Shore Women ' s Civic League; was one of the first women to serve on the jury of Wicomico County; is active in fraternal organiza- tions; has traveled extensively in the interest of Home Economics and The New Homemakers of America, and has attended national conferences held at Bennett College, Greensboro, North Carolina, Langston University, Langston, Oklahoma, Morgan College, Baltimore, Maryland, and Jackson College, Jackson, Mississippi; has conducted and participated in work- shops held at Fort Hill High School, Cumberland, Maryland, Morgan State College, Baltimore. Maryland, and Maryland State College, Princess Anne, M y!and; is serving as member of the staff of First Aid Instruction for 1 dim in) County ; conducts adult homemaking classes annually ; has been a ■ .■mber of the Salisbury High School Faculty for several years and today aches home economics and cafeteria practices; has had conferred on her ihe degrees of B. S. and M. S. from Virginia State College. We, the graduates of 1 dedicate this our yearbook with pride and ap- preciation to one who has been a great help to us on our road of life.
