r x It lg, 830' H, FE J , was g lg ,A xxx Class History Our stroll thru the halls of Saline High School began early one Sept. morning in 1946 when we first met our Kindergarden teacher Miss Mary Gobdell With us at this meeting were eight boys and ten girls Those who will graduate this sprmg from Salme are W1111aII1 Austin Yvonne Bernard Sandiland Bowen Judy Hunt Jan Jeppeson Ann Kuebler Karen Leidhelser Lanny Robbins Pam Schm1d Alice Sheehan Janet Tower Frances Visel Judy Fl1ck1nger Joan Weibusch and Carol Wright 1947 We've traveled down the hall to Miss Joan Wondergem's room with the red geramum plants on the window s1lls This year we made a trip to the Detroit Zoo Across the hall we met Mrs Pauline Coates who was our second grade teacher We all wel comed Davld Drause and Pat Johnson to our class as we learned more about the Three R's 1949 third grade and Mrs Shirley Walton Here we were Jomed in our Journey by Kay Wal ters In the fourth grade we were Joined by Jan Losee and Carl Wiegand Mrs Silkworth guided us through this part of our Journey Mrs Stuckman was our teacher m 1951 as we entered our fifth grade We visited Green field Village This year Dennis Kelley's name was added to the class roll We entered the sixth grade with Mr Black man as our teacher He took us to see the Willow Run Weather Bureau and on a wonderful picnic at Wampler s Lake ,Hi- cqho K s lk .VQQ ss-1 Lael' f 5' Ctrl W Gtdry ,D 12
