With his team winning 12 games and losing 6, Coach Padjen guided them to a co-cham- pionship of the Huron League. They also won the consolation trophy in the Christmas tournament held here. The Hornets were the only team to place two men on the Huron League All Star Team. Jerry Gonser, a repeater from last year, won a berth as a guard and forward Don Feldkamp was the only unanimous choice on the team. Hornet guard Vern Drake got honorable mention. Mr. Padjen is to be congratulated for his fine work. In his first year as coach here he brought Saline the first championship the school has had in any sport since its entry into the Huron League. Coach and his team are something which the school will be proud of for years to come.
