Five ol' last yezu s team squad were out for the first days practice. Our new coach this year is Mr. Bremer who has developed two teams. Both teams have showed satisfactory progress since the beginning' of the season and at the present time have practically ai clean slate. Six scheduled gaines have been played to date and we have won five of them. The first game with Dexter was the only one lost. In this game. Gross was ineligible but in the return gxaine, with him in the line-up Dexter went down to defeat after one ul' the liurd- est lights ever put up on the home floor. tContinued on page fifty-fourj BOYS' SECOND TEAM NHI1lkS0fDlE1NGIS lelt to ii ht 1 :cw mei anee over loc kin anf iinias. o Beit Hammond tom 1 Utlls owtn scai iceci w . 1 1 Ut N. ligl-xx ' fx j ' gf : 'ful 'r':Hl 'L' ',Hl 'tFl',- l'I'lf -:QI Middle row: Bliss Curtiss, Robert Fuoss, John Stimpson, Howard Lamb, and liot r iw: I. li 'A ,UQ -' 'Vll A l 'lCi1It2llIl. As a result we started practice at the hall the Iirst of October. and a large nuniher turned out. This nuniher gradually siinhered town to the first team and a stri ng second team.. Under the efficient coaching of Bliss Hazel Fuoss. we made speedy progress. Our practice game at Adrian-was difficult. One of our guards was unahle to make the trip and so we were deafeated. But. nevertheless., we were good losers. A ost of-our games were with teams that are old opponents of ours, hence eleau competition existed between us. Every player was given an opportunity toiplay in one or more games during the ye ar, with the result that we will have a strong team again next year. We sincerely appreciate the faithfulness and efforts of Miss Hazel Fuoss. To her we owe in a large measure the success of the year. We also wish to thank Mrs. Graham. who generously assisted us several times at praetiee. and aeted as our umpire during the season.
