Our presidenT was Alan AamodT and our counselors were Mrs. Beulah MacDonald, Mr. Godfrey Huber, and Miss LaVerTa Zarnowski. 1958-59 JUNIORS . . . A liTTle more confidenT, a liTTle more cocky, we were upper classmen. In ThaT year, due To The hard work of our AFS commiTTee, we were To have noT one, buT Two exchange sTudenTs in 1959-60. We hope To see This efforT beTTered by The coming classes. We gave The class of 1959 a Terrific send-off wiTh The Junior-Senior Prom, Fire and Ice . Richard Abramson was our class presidenf. 1959-60 SENIORS . . . Our senior year saw us in double session for The firsT Time in SUI-IS hisTory. WiTh The birTh of NSI-IS our class was separaTed. AT This Time our iniTials were changed from SUI-IS To SHS. We losT Two fine counselors, Mrs. MacDonald and Mr. Huber, buT we gained Miss Virginia Nash. This was our mosT acTive year. We began wiTh The Senior STomp confinued Through The year wiTh The Junior-Senior Prom, Senior Ball, Conference Day and BaccalaureaTe all leading up To our graduaTion on Thursday, June 16, 1960.
