Mr. Fiese has been with our transportation department for 21 years. C Born in Beloit, Wisconsin, Mr. Fiese came to Califor- nia in 1895. ln 1898 he came to Pacific Grove, where he attended Pacific Grove Grammar School. Later Mr. Fiese attended Alisal Union when it was a one room school. Mr. Fiese and his wife are now residing in North Salinas. Mr. Fiese has established a remarkable driving record of 20 years without an accident. We are proud of this record and his personal concern for the safety ot the students here at Salinas Union High School. The 1953 El Gabilan Staff dedicates this book to George Fiese.
