Such was the theme for Thorton Wilder's famous play Our Town presented by Central's Dra- ma department October 9th and 11th at 8:00 p.m. in the Central audi- torium. Since Our Town took place mostly within oneself few props were used. This required the cast to use a great deal 'of panto- mime. Our Town was divided into three acts. ln Daily Life , the first act, a stage manager came on stage and talked intimately to the audi- ence, describing the various towns- people as they entered and left the stage, going about their daily rou- tines. The second act was entitled Love and Marriage . It was about two townsfolk, George Gibbs and Emily Webb, who fell in love and were married. Death , the third act is focused on Emily, in which she died at childbirth. The theme of the - l ' 1' 1 ',... play is then restated as Emily sayl goodbye to her life and wif-hes shi would have relished every moment As Thorton Wilder said about hi' play, All we need is the passion tc know what life means to us . Lear performers were: Nick Wooster Francis Hernandez, Cheryl Deather age, Clay Davis, Sarah Simpson, Let Williams, Elaine Melton, and Mari Willis. Crew chiefs were: Guy Lytle Steve lohannes, Lee Williams, Deb- bie Pickering, Millie Brown, Sandy Sterling, Susan Picking and Elaine Melton.

.r Homecoming Queen 'fifiiu U. ,U L . , ' ' '1 Y 1 , -4- W 7 ,- Cathy Green was Salina Central's '75-'76 Homecoming queen. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Green. Cathy's friendly attitude and her involvement in school activities made her the popular candidate for this honor. Cathy worked on the Trail staff for tw-0 years. She was a member of VET Squad for two years and waselected co- captain in her senior year.-Cathy also wassecretary of her senior class. Queen Cathyfs escort for the Homecoming ceremonies was Rich Linville.
