Putting in a lot of singing appearances this year was the sophomore sextette composed of Linda Stark, Pat Riker, Gwen Engstrom, Donna Norris, Pat Means, and Cherie Clark. These talented girls should add much to the vocal department in the next two years. Mr. Paul Ryberg is their instructor. 'X rg During a football game, one can see gay streamers flying from Salina's goal posts and also from the opposition's goal posts. jim Van Duyne and Darwin johnson decorated the goal posts after school one day for the game that night. In the fall the sophomore class holds a get- acquainted party for all its members. Com- mittees work hard to organize the party and have enjoyable recreation and refreshments. Everyone has great fun at the party, espec- ially when it's time to gather for pepsies and doughnuts. An event that is anticipated with much ex- citement during the holiday season is the Cherokee Christmas formal.
