PAUL RYBERG LUCILLE GROVES Mr PAUL RYBERG our chorus director, among other duties presented an operetta and a spring variety show He also sponsored many extra appear ances He met with freshmen and sophomores at Lincoln, juniors and seniors at Washing- ton One of the important members of the Lincoln faculty is Miss LUCILLE GROVES who spends a very busy day instructing girls gym She is also sponsor for the Maroonettes, girls athletic organization CHARLES W HETRICK conducts his 9th and 10th grade gym classes at the Barn and is known as Salina High s head wrestling coach This was his second year at Salina Mr EARL F MORRISON was one of the busier men of Salina High School During his first four hours he taught gym at Washington The last 2 hours, which lasts well after school time, is used coaching the B football squad, A basketball squad, and tennis. He was hospitalized on February 10 and had to give up coaching. If you want to know what makes a frog jump or an orchid grow, one of the best people to consult is Mr. HAROLD HEYWOOD who spends his school hours in room 15 at Lincoln teaching the science of Biology. Mr. W. E. SIMPSON teaches biology and lab. tech. None of us will forget the cutting up of the frog, also the many worksheets. Mr. Simpson instructs juniors and seniors at Washington.
