STUDENT COUNCIL R Navigators, as student council ,members are called, came into being in Salina High many years ago. The navigators are the student representatives unit- ed to guide the destinies of the Schooner Pirates of the good ship Washington. They choose the boy and girl of the month, have charge of homecoming and decorate the halls at Christmas time. Bucca- neers are chosen by their fellow pirates to serve in this important organization, one from each class. OFFICERS Back Row: HARRY WEELBORG, V. Pres.: GE STAUFFER, Secy.
