This was Bill's first year on the team. EVERETT JUKES, Fullback, Senior Jukes battered the opponents, line every game and consistently gained ground. He lettered when a a sophomore but was unable to play in his junior year. JOHN CROWTHER, Quarterback, Senior John played the blocking back position and was always in the game playing his hardest until the last gun went off. RICHARD NETHAWAY, I-Ialfbacle, Senior Dick did not see as much service as some of the other backfield candidates, but gave his best in regular games or in practice. CLIFFORD WILBUR, End, junior Tib was hard to block out and was always fight- ing his hardest, winner or loser. He was the best forward-pass receiver on the team. ROLLAND NELSON, Manager, Sophomore Rolly, who served as manager, was both effi- cient and dependable. His optimistic view of foot- ball events helped to keep up the morale of the team. HARoLD KOHMAN, Tackle, Senior Kohman was a stone wall on defense and could pile through the opponents' line on offensive play. Harold could always be counted on to fill a line gap. ELTON LARUE, Tackle, Senior Elr did not see as much regular service as some other lineman but could be relied on to play his hardest no matter what the score, LEONARD FRIEDSEN, Guard, junior Leonard's speed and weight made him a great interference runner. l-le had no mean ability to knife through che opponents' forward wall on defensive play.
