SALESIAN CROSS COUNTRY TEAM By Steven Jimenez Brother Tom and his Keegan boys made it seven straight with the victory over Crespi on November eighth, taking the Del Rey League The Varsity team is now un- defeated and IS threatening to take it ALL Not only did the Varsity take league, but also the J V s and the Soph- Frosh teams Under the leadership of Brother Tom, the K boys scored big wins over Loyola and Crespi Good all around efforts by Captain Memo Lopez, Mando Rodriguez, Javier Lebrija and David Avila blew-out Cantwell. Notre Dame, St John Bosco, Murphy, and made an easy win over St. Francis In past years during the C.I.F finals, the Mustangs were a constant threat to all rivals In 1972. Salesian took first place, and in 1973 they were a closerunner up Now. at the close of the 1974 cross country season. Salesian has come up with one of the best years in its history We are very proud of each member of the cross country team, and we are especially proud of our wonderful coach: Brother Tom Keegan (and Snoopy) No school ever had a better track coach!
