They have mowed top ranked teams and smashed all feeble ones with relative ease. They have excelled in spirit and have now become known as a dreaded foe. However, unlike any football team in Salesian ' s history, they have become known as a proto-type for all ambitious teams. These Mustangs have broken long revered records with no regard for past sentiments. There 6-3 win-lost record edged out the previous best of 5-3-1. Jesse Ramirez ' s 96 yard interception is the longest in Salesian ' s books. Other phe- nomenal feats such as; being the first Salesian team ever to be rated in CIF play, winning five consecutive games, scoring the most points in a single game (34), and having 20 members on the all-league team are all new records which will be long standing. 97
