SENIOR CLASS PLAY PEOPLE ARE FUNNY The Saunders family, all eight of them, are a very lively and engaging group. It can truly be said, there's never a dull moment in the Saunders household, with Grandpa Saunders as lively as the teen agers. It's football season and Bob Saunders is captain of the team The whole family lives and dreams football, for both Gramps and Mr, Saunders were football men in their day: and most of the off-the-field activities center around the Saunders home. The season's sensational player is Johnny, a student from a nearby reservation, whose lndain name is Silver-Water-Runs-Fast, Complications pile up when Roberta Saunders is carried away by J'oh.nny's romantic sounding na me and his football prowess but is forced to ignore her hero because being just an Indain from the reservation, he is excluded from all the social activities of the school. Which caused Gramps to think people generally are funny and some in particular are downright odd, and he sets about showing them up, Roberta Saunders . . .... Miss Priscilla Carter, an old maid aunt, peeved because her two nieces, Marian and Jill, have fallen in love with two silly young njncompoops, purchased the grim old Hobgood House in the foot- hills of the Ozarks where she plans to keep the girls separated from their boyfriends for at least six months on penalty of being disinherited.
