Was Santa Claus good to you? 3-Ballgame at 'Scutch. we lost 50-62. 6-Ballgame with Wharton. 10-No school because of ice. 16-Junior High played at 'Scutch. 18-Sycamore played Salem Junior High here. Seniors finish typing ads. 20-Had a ballgame with Sycamore, 26 -Group and individual pictures taken. 27-Farmers Institute at Upper, Ballgame with Marseilles. 30-No school because of ice. FEBRUARY 3-No school 10-Ballgame at Nevada. 17-Tournament begins. We play Harpster. 18-Tournament. 'Scutch beat us. 21-Tournament. Got beat by Wharton. 22-No school. Washington's Birthday. MARCH 23-County Vocal Festival at Sycamore. 30-No school. Good Friday. APRIL 13-Jxmior play. lt was a success. 20-County Band Festival at Wharton. MAY 4-T rack meet 20-Baccalaureate, 24-Commencement-So long from the Seniors of 56. JOKES MF- Wiflkrl D0 You know the difference between a boy Mr. Shullz Is there any soup on the menu? and a girl? Opposing team-Sycamore. 14-15-16-Off for the Fair. . 19-Did everyone have a nice time at the fair? 20-Baseball game at Marseilles. Everyone disgusted, we lost. 23-Nevada game postponed because of rain. 26-Seniors had pictures taken at Fostoria. Watch the one lane bridge, Mr. Grothl 27-Senior girls had a slumber party. '28-I wonder why all the Seniors girls look so sleepy? 30-Baseball game at 'Scutch. OCTOBER 3-Work started, play practice. 5-Sandy had a date, no play practice. 6-Had a party after play practice. 7-Game with Wharton postponed because of rain. 10-We got to see a movie at school. ll-How did you get home from play practice Rose Ann? 13-Seniors sold ads for annual. 14-Ballgame at Wharton. 19-The government class went to see a trial at the court-house. 20-Seniors finish selling ads. 21-All the girls are happy, no play practice tonight. ?A-Miss Roberts gave a delicious demonstration in home-ec. 27-Held second meeting of F.H.A. 28-No school. Teachers meeting. 31-I wonder where the Senior girls went after play practice in Earl's little red Ford. NOVEMBER l-Where's Sandra today? Must have soaped too many windows last night. 3-Georgia, Rose Ann, and Genevieve went to Upper to get Mr. Hamman's gift for the play. 4-This is it. Our Senior play. Ed., Jaunita? 18-Ballgame with 'Scutch. The score was 58-69 in their favor. 21-Ballgame with Wharton. 24-'25-Aren't we lucky? No school, Thanksgiving vacation. 28-Juniors got their class rings. DECEMBER 1-F.F.A. boys had Parliamentary Procedure at Upper. 2-Ballgame at Sycamore. The score was 57-87 in their favor. 5-Started Operettapractice. 7-Earl got kicked out of music. 8-Seniors still waiting for their pictures. 9-Ballgame at Marseilles. 13-Earl joined music again. 16-Game at Harpster. 20-Ballgame with Nevada. 21-F.H.A. Christmas program, Senior's pictures finally came.
