Bad night last night. 7-Home Ec classes go to Bucyrus to see the chrysanthemum show. Lucky aren't they? 10-Monday is Current Event Day says Mr. Blosser. 11-Donna Walters and Betty Karg, class of '47 both back to visit. Nice to have you back! 13-How are we supposed to study without our books Mr. Crook? 14-Seniors receive name cards. Salem beats Eden 30 to 28 in a very good game. 17-I see there are two more boys with G. I. haircuts this morning. It doesn't improve them any either. 18-Salem beats Wharton 39 to 21. 19-American Government class gets out of class by stalling. We'll try anything once. 20-President of school board becomes Grandfather. Congratulations Wick! 21-Salem downs Sycamore 56 to 26. 24-Santa Claus comes early for some people I see. 25-What did we do to deserve all of these tests? 26-Everybody anxious for tomorrow. Salem tops Marseilles 35 to 30. 27-Thanksgiving Day-No school. 28-No school. Recuperating from over cating yesterday. 1-I see everybody survived the vacation. Something new has been added to the gym. 2-Senior boys start selling Ads for the annual. Mr. Crook starts library fund by paying his 3c fine. 3-Why isn't Miss Wagner here? '? ? Did Paul keep her out too late? 4--Why all the long faces? Oh! State Tests. 5-More State Tests-Teachers are missing school instead of students. Salem beats Harpster 28 to 19. 8-Teachers think that bells on your shoes are too much in the Christmas spirit. 9-Start decorating rooms for Chlistmas. We beat Carey 38 to 33. 10-They must have some new rules in basketball this year by the looks of Bill W.'s eye. 11-Mary Ellen proves she is a tender heart in Phys. Ed. ' 12-Salem beats Scutch 29 to 27. We must be slipping. 15-The eighth grade is having another noon session today, this is getting to be a habit! 16-Mr. Groth finds that the roads on Vi1wgil's bus route are slippery. 17-Seniors receive graduation pictures-AFTER they finish decorating Study Hall. 18-Madly reviewing for Semester tests-I might say that we need it. 19-Nevada beaten by Salem, S7 to 21 in a very one-sided game. 22-Last day before tests. Everybody anxious-for Christmas, I mean. 23-Oh woe is me! Tests and more tests. Salem beats Holmes-Liberty 26 to 25. 24-Won't these tests ever stop? We sure need a vacation after this!
