Salem 9, Sycamore 1. 8-Home Ec girls at the fair all afternoon. Aren't they lucky? 9-Quite a few absent for the fair. What long hours Miss Steiner has! 10-12-Yippe! Vacation already--everybody going to the fair. 15-Back to school after a short vacation. 16-Played Marseilles. We won 13 to 9. 17-Juniors ordered ringsg Seniors ordered name cards and commencement invitations. 18-Seniors eliminating plays. 19-Played Nevada. We Won 13 to 0. 22-What are all of the Freshman talking about--could it be next Friday? 23-Election of Girls Glee Club Officers. Home Ec party after school. 24-Jeanette'S birthday. School very dull. 25-Three Junior boys have fight in 8th period study hall. 26-What's everybody laughing at? Could it be the Freshman??? Initiation tonight. October 1-Reading our translations in English class. It's still Greek to me. Also promises an A to the person who soaped his car windows if they will confess. Hallowe'en is coming-you know. October 22-What is everybody laughing at? Oh, the Seniors got their proofs back. October 23-The Senior girls find out when they can blow their noses. i October 24-School has HalloWe'en spirit-corn fodder in Study hall. ' October 27-Play tickets go on sale. Cheerleaders chosen-no opposition.
