At .the last minute we finally got ahead. The Sycamore game at Salem proved to be Logsdon's best record with 10 points. Binau scored 8 out of 14 field tries in the first Marseilles game in which Salem won 35 to30. Walter scored 12 points on 7 shots in the Carey: game at Carry. In this game Bill Weaver received a black eye. Kisseberth of Scutch was running wild with 17 points while Walter, Binau and Weaver had 5 points apiece. Weaver and Ralph Orians had 16 points apiece as Salem runs out of control to score 87 points at the Nevada game. At the Holmes-Liberty game the boys did a very nice job of stalling for 4 minutes and holding their one point lead of 26 to 25. The score at the halftime was 14 to 6 in favor of Wharton, but Binau's 13 points helped out there in winning the ball game. Weaver's high record was in the Carey game in which he sifored 22 points. Fonr of Edf'n's starters fouled out as Salem wins 59 to 31 just after Eden had beaten Marseilles. Schmidt had 13 points in the Sycamore game. Parsell's 21 points beat us 36 to 35 at Marseilles. Only 13 points were scored against us in the county tournament Scutch. Schmidt himself scored 15 points. Weaver's 15 points helps Salem Win the County Tournament 31 Marseilles. In the Whetstone game Schmidt sprained his ankle and could not We were defeated bv Marseilles in the final at Bascom. Parsell as he got 25 points in the district finals.
