CLIFFORD CEER 1950 - 1961 The hearing ear and the seeing eye Not long after the beginning of the present academic year, the entire College was saddened by the death of Professor Clifford Ceer, chairman of the De- partment of Audio-Visual Instruction. Mr. Ceer brought to Salem a wealth of experience, gained in the educational systems of Connecticut and Massachusetts. His kindly sense of humor, and his awareness of the problems of the students combined to make him a faculty member who will long be missed by those who knew him.

The many children influenced by Miss Hudgins during her years of public service came to realize that her standards were high and that they were expected to work at their fullest capacities. She has been a credit to the teaching profession. V. John Rikkola L
