A specialty is to be made of child psychol- ogy. For this purpose a suitable variety of infants will be furnished and maintained at the States charge. An interesting collection of jars have been purchased, containing preserved sensations, emotions and thoughts, to aid in the objective teaching. The course will aim to furnish its pupils with a clear understanding ofthe anatomy and hygiene of the soul. The laboratory work will include the observation of the diges- tion, absorption and assimilation of knowledge, the dissection of habits and the observa- tion, through the microscope, of states of mind during such critical periods as whooping- rough, teething and measles. The drawing of diagrams of all phenomena will be a fharatteristii feature of the work. lu order that the students may be able, in the future, to diagnose and treat their own fases and those of their pupils, the course will be supplemented by a series of lec- tuivs on l-lim-rgeiiries, among which will be the following:--tits of stupidity, silliness and olistinzuy, broken promises, sprains of common sense, dislocations of temper and IMll'sHlllllf,1 ol morals.
