Phyllis Peterson we find as a noteworthy representative from our fair state in Congress. Mary Lou Fluegel is singing in the Metropoliton Opera and in her spare time is an efficient mother and housewife. Logene Streff is found as an efficient little secretary on the knee of the President of the U.S. What's she doing? Well use your imagination! Robert Nelson is now located in Cuba strumming away on his electric guitar. He is enthronged with dancing beauties. Joan Kipp we find as a receptionist in the office of her doc- tor husband. Donald Schnieder is the proprietor of 'Ze Ritze Club in Miami Florida and employs many cute little numbers for his program. Vivian Dewey is a very efficient nurse who spends most of her time taking care of Sissy's Sores and keeping the home fires burning for a sailor boy. Mary Jenneman is a successful'wife, and in her spare time she dances at Ciro's in Hollywood. Donald Duerksen is general of the Twenty Fifth Infantry and it is rumored that he is running for President next term. Oh yes, by the way, he is married and has ten children. Martha Matthaei recently entered the women's division of mot- orcycle racing at Minneapolis. Wonder why she is riding motorcycles nowadays? Donald Timmerman is the famous editor of the New York Times. Donnette Osterberg is hidden behind a teachers desk covered with big red apples. She is also a married career woman. Marten Wells is a county agent in Rockfort Countv,Il1inoisa This county is said to be the most prosperous in the U.S. Doris Larson is dining room hostess in the Waldorf Hotel in New York. As a hobby she enjoys her husband. Orville Triebwasser is the star sharp shooter of Minneapolis Lakers. But of course he has to have a good job to feed those six little redheads, Johnny Wiebe is the manager of the General Motors Company in Los Angeles. Seems as though he always did enjoy cars. Patricia Graham we find journeying with her star cornetist husband as he plavs in Tommy Dorsey's band. Last time I saw Pat a new addition had been added to the family nicknamed 'Kirk' Jr. Myron Tuschen is the breeder of fine dairy cows on a 'huge ranch in Texas. We hear he is retiring soon, leaving the manf agement in his son's hands, Lujeanne Larson is happily married to a Swede. The last' I heard they were on their way to Sweden to visit relatives, Joan Kuyper is the famous makeup director for Ho1lywood's Metro Goldwyn Mayor. Seems as tho' she did all right in her beauty career. Ertis Osterberg has just replaced Mario Lanza in his latest lending role and now has his own radio program. ' Twila Wobig has, after an unsuccessful first marriage,return- ed to her high school sweetheart and is now off on her honey- moon to Bermuda, 5 Twenty two members have reached the heights of 'thigh school education in the chambers of Salem High School. V Our class will always have the memories of busy and enjoyable days that have beeng It was in these portals that we have acquired our qreater scope of intellijence and human under- standing Let's review the years of our high school days, In IQMB our class began its upward climb with 21 green freshman, During that year Johnny Wiebe joined us, This year we gained new acquaintances and fitted ourselves for the fol- lowing three imoortant years. Many activities scattered along our oaths as freshmen, gave us a wider understanding of high school days. The sophomore year started out with the addition of three new members: Donna Anderson, Logene Streff and Myron Tuschen, But still as underclassmen we looked toward higher goals as upper classmen. During the course of the year Wanda Schnose was a member of our class for a few short months. Donald Duerksen also joined us in the middle of the sophomore year. Donna Anderson and June Anderson left after their sophomore years, New we started our interesting and enjoyable junior year Twila Wobig joined us in the beginning of this year. ' To begin this year's activities we as juniors presented HThe Boarding House Reach,n a three act comedy, It was after these episodes of play practise each night, that we as a class became better acquainted. ' After the other events of the year were over, we racked our brains for ideas to please the seniors for the annual Junior-Senior Banquet, Finally an idea was struck upon and we decorated the band room to fit our theme, nhappy Holidaysn Minds and eyes were now turned anxiously toward the senior year. Upon entering our senior year as high and mighty intel- lects we regret to say Jerry Capon had left our fair class to attend school in California. Time caught up and began press- ing us foryrrd iz our final journey through the Lnlls of salem Bill school, -vents hurried niet us and before we roelifed it the fiiish of nur senior rear and crest ue on us. Three weeks before school was out we presented nStranger in the Night,n a three act mystery comedy. Hard work and determination have led us to our goal and now we will no longer be able to claim these halls as home. WILL Twila Wobig wills her ability to play the vibraharp to Dean Lockwood, ' Donald Duerksen wills his shoulders to Richard Byrd, Vivian Dewey wills her ability to act silly to Joan Koqpsell, Lujeanne Larson wills her room at L, P.'s to Donna'Eriokson, Donald Timmerman wills his height to Howard Miller, continued on Page 1D f o A J Z6 P' X D J V M Liqar-IQ f Qiiiige XQP. figckman' Mr 22' O'Hare FGCUHY ,,, 1 1 Lett to , , P , , , P , n , , P , e, lisa Schroeder, Mr. Marten. eclam Left Riser: Eleanor Grapes, Joan Kipp, Lujeanne Larson, Carol Knuason, Marlowe Anderson, wayne Peterson, Standing: Miss Schroeder.
