From what little information we can get from Myrtle Colwill, we find that she plans to be WGoodallW the rest of her life. We wish her much success and happiness. Have you been keeping up on the latest True Romances? If you have you no doubt know that Marlyn Pearson has become a sensational favorite author by writing his story NLove Me Forever And A Day, But Forget Me Never.' This novel was based on his own true experience and has proved to be a sell-out favorite in all cases. From a recent communlque from the Dark Continent we are informed that one of our Senior girls is making a name for herself there. She is the featured vocalist with Merland Howe and his orchestra. Her latest release is an oldie NBongo, Bongou or WC1vil1zat1onN. It is quite evident that the tropics agree with her. Oh, you wonder who it is? Why, Bonnie Feske, of course. I see by reading the paper that Dale Karlson is on the Associated Press Staff. He is the foreign correspondent ln India. Do you suppose he had any little blonde in his harem? After all, what's India without a harem? Let's go back to the United States and see what's going on there. Here's another of our girls. Bhe's Edna Kipp. She has at last fulfilled her ambition--that of becoming a registered nurse and being the head of Sioux Valley Nursing School. As most of you know Lenora Van Steenwyk started out on the same path that Edna did. It seems that she changed her course a little. She is still at Sioux Valley, not as a nurse, but as the first woman doctor ever to practice there. Bay, I wonder what Helen Graese ls doing? Oh, yes, I remember, I received word that she is in Mexico looking for the 'Treasure of Sierra Nadre.W I guess she thought that as long as she could dig up news for the Cub Chatter, perhaps she could dig up something else. After all, I don't think she read 'Treasure Island' for nothing. Entering an insurance office in Sioux Falls last week whom do you think I saw? There was Shirley Jenneman sitting on the Boss' lap--taking short- hand. I guess that's what she was doing. That's 0,K, Shirley, thg best of secretaries do it. we have been informed that Larry McRae has been elected president of Yale University. He did such a fine Job of handling the unruly Senior Claes of '48 that we know he can handle such a minor Job as directing a college. lo doubt you all remember that Harold Rademacher used to give cratorical readings in the high school declam contests. Well, the time has come when that experience is going to pay off in big dividends. Mr. Rademacher has been elected speaker of the House in Washington, D.C. Do you even tune in station HARK, Nashville, Tennessee, and hear that Zlngy Rhythm? If you haven't, you've certainly missed a treat. Loren Zlng- mark now has his own band and is touring the South.
