It has been an honor to serve as class president during these last 2 years—our most im- portant years of high school. We have certainly come a long way and have accomplished plenty, but greater tasks still lie ahead in those chapters of our lives that we have yet to experience. For all of you, I hope that good fortune will accompany the future and that you will not forget the many mem- ories of your high school year. Ff CUXjQ It an honor to serve as vice president for a great class. each of you go your separate ways and begin fulfilling your dreams, may the memo- ries never be forgotten. I hope that you will never lose your identity as Salem Quakers Class of 88. You may always consider yourselves friends. Best of Luck! It was an honor to be elected Senior Class Trea- surer and I would like to express my sincere thanks for all of your support. Good Luck Everyone! Seniors, In these past four years we have experi- enced many things both good and bad, in school and out. By making it through, we have learned that we can make it through anything. The team, led by four fine seniors, posted its best record in four years. Its fine youth gained valuable ex- perience to complete their training for the years ahead. The future team will be a front- running force under 2nd year coachr Bob Sabo. Even though it may seem a failure with the losing record, the 1988 season was a transformation period, a time which is crucial to the boosting of the program. Through the many matches, the eight rookies and two re- turning sophomores gained poise and stami- na to compete forcibly in the area for years to come. This year's senior TACT group accomplished many things while having great fun. The year started off with a (tgoodbye to summer”party at Mrs. Cozza’s house. Throughout the year 1988 seniors enjoyed games, food and activi- ties without the use of alcohol or drugs and found that they CAN have fun without it They engaged in such activities as a Hallow- een Masquerade Party, and Christmas dance, along with a Teen Action Day at the Southern Park Mall. Selected individuals went to speak with grade schoolers and other various groups, and they sold daffodils for the Ameri- can Cancer Society. All in all, these seniors realized they could ha ve fun without the use of alcohol or drugs. 129 V —. !
