Praetieing our salesxnanship and counting up the money to foot Prom bills. we started the year peddl- ing detergent. Profits totaled over a hundred dollars. College-minded students hit their books a little harder than before. while others took their first part- time jobs in local stores. sophistication over night Newly-found inuseles were flexed with the intro- duction of hoys' and girls, tumbling teams, Compris- ed mostly of nienxhers of our elass. In February Came a brainwashing, as all of us lxlearily struggled through the Iowa Educational De- velopment Tests, designed to determine individual aptitudes and weaknesses.
