Exclamations echo at grand opening as footsore WE CAME, we saw, we liked it. Student Council member Mickey Cope ushers Dick Carnahan and Ned Chappell from the cafe- teria. as a crowd of juniors receives its first official introduction to SHS. HUFFIN' AND PUFFINQ Bob Zepperniek can toot his trumpet to his lungs' content without disturbing his fellow bandsman Sue Windram. The music wing's sound-proof practice rooms are just the thing for in- dividual music drill. THE NOONTIME RUSH hits the cafeteria when 750 hungry people swarm in three shifts. Girls go for calorie-light dishes, but boys sometimes load up with a plate lunch with extra sandwiches and dessert from the a la carte line. lt was a grand opening. complete with nvaps for wide-eyed seniors. flowers. and soft music to soothe sore-looted. tax-calculating parents. Student Council nieinhers guided teenagers and adults through rooniy corridors. past tinted lockers and drinking fountains. private little confcrence rooms. and the spacious gym. Glcaining kitchens. the niusic section. snappy industrial arts shops. and liour laboratories- necessary for TBI! students' wowed visitors. Pending the completion ol' the science wing and installation ot' pencil sliarpeners. the open-
