Benjamin Barrett A long-established custom in SHS has been that of dedicating the yearbook to a teacher. The only limitation on the choice is that 'the dedicatee must have taught in SHS for at least four years. This year we dedicate the Qua- ker to a man who has served Salem High for many more than four years, who has made a good name for us in the community, who has helped our boys to develop the vir- tues of perseverance, self-discip- line, and fair play. The Quaker Annual Staff proud- ly dedicates the 1955 yearbook to Coach Ben Barrett.
