They could not be chased out of town and crowds gathered on the streets and lawns to watch the building being constructed. However. we were not kept in the dark too long: for just last week the Newspapers fairly screamed out the news in large, black print, UNEXY GLUE FACTORY BUILT IN SOUTHEAST LOVELL CITYf' On reading up about this queer invention I found that the title of the new factory is the STICK AND STAY STUCK MARKET, and is under the proprietorship of none other than Lawrence Logsdon. It seems that in the 'classsot' 47.' there was one girl who longed to travel. And her longings have at last been answered. Her name is Miss Donna Nkalter and she has just competed w'th forty-nine others in a nation-wide spell-down at the XVhite House in YVZ1Sl1l11Q'fO1'I. D. C. Since her score proved to be the highest she is to receive a free trip to Europe to 'see the world ! XYhile Paul Orians, who enlisted in the Navy live years ago because he too, wanted to 'see the worldf is returning home with his discharge made hnal at last The surprise yet to come is this! Rumors have it that her husband, L. K. Mastergoon, is doing well in the 'revised Schmidt Machine Shop.' The Lovell Plain Dealer, our city paper. is under new editorship. XVe know very little about this prosperous gentleman editor evceot that his name is Mr, Donald Orians, and he was a graduate from Salem High School in the year of '47. However. we do have one important item about Mr. Orians which l'm sure will prove that he is a worthy man for the editorship. lt seems that the new editor has also been elected XVvanrlot County Livestock Inspector, by the President of the United States. Her name is Betty Karg. and word has it that she is flashing' a lovely diamond on her left hand. Can this word be true?? David Snyder. who had been voted the most unattainable bachelor eve' to graduate from Salem High School, has bachelor's quarters in a fashionable hotel in New York City. Some of Dave's closer friends say he has sat up a small laleoratorv in one corner of the room. Perhaps yo'.1've heard more about him as that queer Dr. Snyder?
