ir HUNGR Possibly the most enjoyable task in publishing a year- book is the choosing of the Dedicatee, It is an oppor- tunity to repay in some measure, a faculty member, who, through years of service, has shown that she is qualified for this honor. Because she is, first of all, an interesting teacher, making dry pages of math understandable, and making fundamentals and equations simple facts, because she has Worked tirelessly as a very successful advisor of the Freshman class, and because she is, besides all these things, a true friend, We dedicate the 1949 Quaker Annual to Miss Martha M. McCready. 'A' 161 al'
