20 FRANK MILLER Mr. Miller has taught Biology at Salem for 8 years. Our Sophomore year wouldn't be complete without his Biology dissections! Mr. Miller sponsors these eas BETTY SINDEN Everybody knows Mrs. Sinden because she is one of the first teachers we meet when we enter into our Freshman year. Mrs. Sinden is a hard and understanding teacher. She has taught Freshman English for 6 years at Salem. PATRICIA SMITH Within Mrs. Smith's two years of teaching at Salem, she has become a favorite among the students. Not only is she a good teacher, but a good friend. A great sponsor of the F.B.L.A. She teaches Bookkeeping and Basic Business.

ETHELENE LONG As librarian of Salem High, she has been of great assistance to us in finding research materials and pleasure reading. She is always ready and willing to help us. Mrs. Long has been with us 7 years. BARBARA McCURRY Barbara has been very patient, understanding, and loyal to Salem High. She has been there when the students needed her, and now Freedom High students will look to her as we do. Sometimes we wonder what would happen to Salem if we didn't have her as secretary. GY. GRACE TAYLOR Mrs. Taylor has taught English at Salem for 8 years. She is a patient and agreeable teacher as well as sponsor of the GAA. We appreciate her guidance as a sponsor during our Sophomore year. RONI WOODELL Aunt Roni'' always helps where she is needed in student activities. She is a faithful sponsor of the SGA and ''The Claws.'' She teaches Typing, Shorthand, and Office Practice. Her sweet disposition has won her many friends among the students. Many thanks, Roni! CLYDE YOUNG Being ‘'star pupils’’ under Clyde for four years, we truly believe he has the patience for the job. Always with a joke and a smile, he does his best to teach us math.
