History Students Relate Past to Present. This year World History students began their course of study with the pre-historic period. Other eras of time were studied in chronological order. Students debated the issue surrounding Joan of Arc's relation to the status of today's women. In U.S. History, students did projects related to their study of the Civil War. A trip to Broughton Hospital was also included in the study of the mentally retarded. 205

The Library The library has been very helpful to all the students working on research papers, those wanting a good book to read, and those just looking for a quiet place to study. Mrs. Long, with the cooperation of the faculty, has made the library a very organized place to visit and work.
