Candy Sale Totals $6,180 The SGA supervised this year's candy sale which lasted from November 9 through 22. The money from the sale was used to budget the school's clubs and organizations needing money for activities and equipment. Of the 16 homerooms participating, 10 of them sold $350 in candy. Mr. Pat Hoyle's homeroom was the highest winning a luncheon trip to Hardees. 94 students became members of Mr. Horton's ''Stinker Club'' and received toy skunks to signify their Imembership.)lo beram stinker. students were required to sell at least 24 boxes of candy during the sale. santa Makes Appearance at ’72 Christmas Dance On the evening of December 17, 1972, the FBLA sponsored the final Christmas Dance. The gym was decorated in accord with the Christmas spirit. The students danced to the beat of the music provided by Stillwater. The Highlight of the evening came at 9:00 when the Christmas Court composed of 17 candidates was presented. Kathie Perkins was chosen Christmas Queen, and Jan Harbison was chosen the Maid of Honor. And finally after the crowning, Santa flew in from the North Pole to bring candies to the students. 139
