118 “Love Story’ Every year the Juniors honor the Seniors with a Prom. On May 6, 1973 the Juniors and Seniors met at the Lenior Country Club as one of our final memories of school. The theme was ''Love Story'' with the colors Blue and White, flower Tiger Lily, and the motto Imagine . . . Our Junior class sponsors were Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Brown, Mr. Daves, and Mr. Brittain. Cyprus, the band, provided entertainment. Tim McGhee and Elaine Riddle were crowned King and Queen of the Prom, and danced the first dance of the evening. The Junior class sponsors were presented gifts by the Juniors for their hard work and support on the dance. Everyone had a great time as the planning and effort were well worth while. RD
