Salem High - How Sweet It Is! A yearbook and its contents are usually based around a theme. Creating a theme that can be used throughout the book is no easy task. As you noticed on the cover and throughout the yearbook there are candy bars practically everywhere! The yearbook staff has chosen candy bars to represent the various features in your book. For instance, who hasn't sneaked a candy bar into class and eaten it because you didn't have something earlier? Or haven't you casually walked over and slipped forty cents into the vending machine at lunch or study hall? We also feel life at Salem High can be pretty sweet when compared to other places. Besides, it was a lot of fun to eat the candy bars we used for pictures when we were done with them. We hope you will enjoy it as much as you do your candy. We've captured this year with copy and pictures for your enjoyment. We sincerely hope that it will give you years of pleasant memories. We have included some bite-size samples on page 5 to whet your appetite.
