Don Roberts. Craig Morton. Randy Larson The SCHS Golf Team had a very rewarding '85 season. In regular play they ended the season with a 14-4 record. In invitational play they placed 3rd at Granite City and 7th at Centralia. Then they went on to place 1st in the NEC for the third year in a row. The Wildcats finished 9th in the regional tournament. Among all the fine team mem- bers, a few stood out. Tony Malan was awarded Most Valuable Play- er with an average of 39.6. Craig Liddle was awarded Most Im- proved Player. The Wildcats warm up before a home match. Under the direction of Coach Bill Beavers, the Cats outscored their opponents 80 to 23. The Freshman team split the season with a 3-3 record.
