The excitement began before the show started with band and choir members dressed as clowns entertaining the young and old. At 8:00 pm Ringmaster (band director) Hezlep blew the whistle and the show began. Students from throughout the school participated in the show. The acts ranged from the Curly Shuffle to Croix, performing “Rock and Roll Party in the Street. Randal Jett and Sharon Vlahovich were the emcees for the evening. During the show two awards were presented. The Kohrig award was presented to Dawn Striker. Tom Murray was the recipient of the John Philip Sousa Award. The show, which was pronounced a great success, was dedicated to the memory of Dr. and Mrs. McClain. Stephanie Williams is one of the clowns that entertained before the show.
