CIRCLE K Circle K is an internationally affiliated organ- izationbased onthe ideal -- We Build. Through direct contact with Kiwanis, Circle K has become one of the driving powers on campus. It was established at the college in March 1959 under the guidance of the Salem and Clarksburg Kiwanis Clubs. The Young Mens Christian As- sociation of Salem College was founded to promote the spiritual, in- tellectual, physical andsocial welfare among the male students, fa c u lt y , and administrative mem- bers. This year the Y.M.C.A., as the co-ordinator of Religious Emphasis Week, was responsible for hymnals for religious chapel programs and conducting v e sp e r service during Freshman Week.
