Its president is elected at large from the student body, a secretary-treasurer and a vice- president are chosen from the membership of the council. The purposeof the I.O.C. is to better coordinate the a c t iv i t i e s and improve the communication between the Student Council, clubs, and campus organization. In this capacity it schedules the meet- ing dates and extra curricular activities of individual clubs, promotes campus functions such as Freshman Orientation Week, Playday, Homecoming, and Winter Carnival, maintains the Student Activities Calendar, and helps co-ordinate the intra- mural program. FRATERNAL ORDEII The Fraternal Order of Yanks has grown in number as well as in strength and activities during their three years on campus. Their aim of service to the school and community has been carried out. During the Homecoming Game they were respon- sible for the half-time activities, they helped with the Winter Carnival, and sponsored numerous in- formal dances.
