WEST VIRGINIA'S STRAWBERRY QUEEN Salem Co11ege's JoDell Swiger reigned as Queen at the annual Strawberry Festival held on the campus of West Virginia Wesleyan, Buckhannon, West Virginia. J oDe11 was chosen from a field of many contestants. Mary Jo McDaniel, Salem College freshman, was chosen as second runner-up at the annual Miss Central West Virginia Contest. The contest was held at the Robinson Grand Theatre in Clarksburg. ff' THIRD PLACE WINNER MISS CENTRAL W. VA.

RELIGIGUS EMPHASIS WEEK A TIME F OR Meditation Counsel Dr. M. S. Harvey, civic leader, church- man and world traveler was the featured speaker during Religious Emphasis Week. Dr. Harvey spoke at chapel programs during the mornings and showed colored slides of his travels in the evenings.
