First Grade With the skilled leadership ofMrs. Lep- ley, this group is learning to read. The owls in the picture were drawn by the first graders. I In the fall of 1956, 15 first graders started their education. With Mrs. Lepley as their guide they learned many new things about our ,inf L world. i 0 0 The children brought clowns, ragdolls, and teddy-bears from home A ' as they talked about them in school. At the first program each organi- zation explained the function of their group and urged new members to join, 'Name That Tune , held November 29, tested the musical knowledge of various contestants.
