Nevertheless, they cannot and never will succeed in refuting the supernatural transformation of. an individual from spiritual darkness to the divine light of the truth. That individual, compelled by a deep, inner conviction, will withstand the doubts and fears of the age, sustained by the realization of the truth contained in the words, But without faith it is impossible to please Him. It is this living faith for which one need make no apologies that Salem Bible College attempts to implant within each student's heart. Consequently, we have chosen as the theme for the 1964 Salem annual, The Faith of our Fathers. y The art work bears a suggestion of the Roman life in which Christianity had its beginning. Its significance lies in the fact that the years have only added decay Rome while the faith of those early to the glory of Christians breaks more and more into holy splendor. The division pages carry drawings which portray out- standing heroes of faith in their days of testing.
