-- F2739 uf' avg CLASS OFFICERS: Sue Sue Britt, Vice President, Anne Rutherford, Treasurerg Bambi Trotman, Secretary, Anne Cotterill, President. 9121014 Gkss f I . ANNE COTTERILL President ll Expect more from '64- a lot to live up to for the 193rd graduating class of Salem Academy. Though chapel talks were replaced by assembly talks, and ring seals were turned to be worn in a different direction, tradition still directed most of the senior class activi- ties. Beginning with the Birthday Banquet in September, the senior class got into the fast- paced swing of Academy life. Cctober ushered in the season of Assembly Talks, and after the first six Weeks study period, the seniors received their long-awaited class rings. Cash slips and charge accounts were a sign that Christmas and the Senior Bazaar were near. Also the trimming of Moravian candles was a major preparation for the Senior Vespers. With the second semester came many other events-the Junior-Senior dance, the tapping of the Commencement Marshals, the slave auction, and the Senior-Faculty Breakfast. Finally came Class Day and the culminating event-graduation exercises. Class of 1964-gone, but not forgotten.
