S ff Class Officers: Paula Sue Russell, Treasurer, Frances Masland, President, Bonnie Davis, Vice President, Susan Southgate, Secretary. SENICR CLASS FRANCES MASLAND President f The Ring Banquet given by the Freshmen to the Senior Class of l962 was the first real mile- stone of the opening year. Following this event the traditional senior projects began: selling blazers, the Senior Bazaar, and the slave auc- tion. Other events long to be remembered by the Seniors were Senior Vespers, Junior-Senior, Class Day, and finally, the culminating event- graduation exercises, From the first day of the school year until graduation, each Senior conscientiously strove to give the best of herself in both academic and dormitory life. Through Senior-Seminar, religion classes, participation in school events, and ev- ery-day living, each girl became keenly aware of her responsibility as a citizen of the school and the community. lt is hoped that the silhouettes of the class of l962 will forever be present in the spirit of Salem Academy.
