'- gif 7224- 519 ff 2 i SENIOR CLASS As this year passed and the seniors realized that they would soon enter college, each made a conscientious effort to prepare herself academi- cally. Likewise, as each girl realized that she would soon be leaving the Academy, she con- tributed her best toward making this year most rewarding for Salem and for herself. Through informal discussions in Senior Seminar, new em- phasis Was placed on the true meaning of ideas and principles such as truth and religion. Miss Lit, serving as their instructor, helped each girl to formulate new opinions on each subject and to understand its meaning more clearly. Each senior returned to Salem last fall with a strong determination and sense of duty to her class and her school. This determination to give of herself was obvious throughout the year, but especially at such times as Senior Day. Though at times the way seemed difficult, the seniors have felt their years at Salem Academy have been most profitable. As they leave, they carry with them many cherished memories of their years at Salem.
