Freshman Class Officers Not botherirgfto wait until their sophomore year, freshmen of '64 busied themselves in getting into school affalrs early. Besides electing class officers and student-council representatives, they have also contributed one of their nearly 500 members, Betty Sztukowski, to the '64 school play M Me in St. Louis. Freshmen play C-team basketball, but three have made B-team: Dan Sexlro, Tony Sabatino, and Steve Schroeder. Mission total at the half-way mark for the leading homeroom, C250, was Sl20.00. Freshmen an their own initiative have fanned a boys' glee club, the first class to have one, as well asa girls' glee club. They are also the first classtoparticipate in its entirety in the group guidance project. fSee page i9.l Although society-at-large pushes the pre-teen and early teen set into dating, diocesan regulations prescribe that freshmen wait until their sophomore year to attend dances at Aquinas. To welcome freshmen, the Student Council sponsored freshmen- only get-togethers, the first of which was the movie, The Eg!
