Diane Anderson Please fill out the following form as completely as possible and as truthfully as possible: Ill When yau were approximately in the sixth grade what were you planning to be when you grew up? QI What are your plans now? C0 What were you like in sixth grade? Have you changed ony? Why? RUTH VAN DILLEN--When I was in the sixth grade I was an easy-going, shy kid who wont out for sports. I wore glasses and had plenty of freckles. Also, I wasn't the slimmest gal in school. MARY GITTEMEIER--In sixth grade when a girl is so anxious to drop that childish Iaok and acquire the appearance ofa teenager, I know I was a mast disappointed awkward tallgirlwho always feltout of place looking down at what I thought was a cute little boy who would never grow up to my size. SANDY SCHULTZE--In the sixth grade my plans were very definite. I was going to be a nurse. My plans now are iust as definite. In sixth grade I was the tallest in my class. It seemed all I had were arms and legs and nothing else. My hair looked terrible all the time. CHERYL WALSCH--When I was in the sixth grade I planned on being oveterinarian. I planned on being this because I liked animals. I changed my mind because I found aut that I would have to take more biology. TERRY PATTON--I always had great hopes of being a doctor, not any specific kind, just an ordinary doctor. In the sixth grade I was o tomboy, as mean and onery as the devil himself. But nowl hope I've changedf l'm still mean, but I dan't climb trees anymore. MARY ELLEN COYLE-- In sixth grade I was rather giddy to say the least. Much thinner than I am'now, with long hair and bushy eyebrows. MADELINE HEl.LMAN-- I wanted to be a holy card dealer because I loved to trade haly cards. Now I want ta be a private secretary for a rich important r-:an because I decided there isn't much ofa future in the holy card business. I was sweet and innocent then and I haven't changed a bit. DIANE ANDERSON --When I was in sixth grade I planned to be a singer who would make many top Rock-n-Roll hits. I thought the arrangers and producers would easily recognize me and make me a hit. I changed my mind because I found my dream ta be impractical and impossible. HOLLY HILL--I wanted to be a star baseball player like Stan-the-Man because I always played on a summer team. I now want to be a social worker because I learned there wasn't any room for girls in the maior leagues. I was somewhat ofa disciplinary problem in the sixth grade--quite a contrast to the cultured girl I am now. MARY DAVIDSON--I have a vague idea as ta my behavior and personality, and from what people tell me l'd rather not remember at all. I was always getting into trouble in school and I was constantly getting kicked out of classes. I'm still known as The Instigator. BARB NOONAN--In the sixth grade I was quiet and very shy. It seems all I ever did was study. Also, I was quite a tomboy in the sixth grade. I even broke an arm to prove it. LINDA STUSSIE--I had always planned on being a lawyer because my goal was to be the first woman President. Now I would like to be an English teacher. The main reason I changed my mind was that, after asking a few people, they all informed me that they would not vote for a woman for President. SHARON NORMANSELL--When I was in the sixth grade I wasn't quiet or shy, but I wasn't boisterous. I prayed pretty much then, probably more than I da now. I do know that I did try to be nice to everyone and I didn't like to hurt people in any way. SHARON COLLINS--When I was in the middle grades all I wanted to be was a mother and have children, and a husband that wentsta the office every morning. Now I am planning an attending nursing school. The reason I changed my mind is because I found out what boys are like, andl doubt very much whether I will ever get married. I couIdn't stand a bossy husband and staying home inthe house with the children all ofthe time. IQ!
