182 Then and Now. . - What did you want to be when you were in sixth grade? What were you like then and what do you want to be now? These were some ofthe questions asked ofthe senior boys on-this page. STEVE HALL--I was o short, fat, smart little kid. I haven't changed much, except now I'm not fat and little and I still like girls. PAT O'KEEFE--I would say thatl was somewhat under-height, under-weight, under-strengthed compared to those in my class. I can recall that I would mostly disagree with iust anybody. I would have daily fights with my second cousin over odd things that seem funny to me now, Since I was smaller I tried to prove myself to those around me, but in trying ta prove this to them I was only making them reiect me more and more. So naw, I'm trying to change myself to meet the everyday group. DENNY DREHKOFF--Now I plan on being a pharmacist. I changed my mind because I found dremistry and biology interesting, but most at all from working at a drug store. In sixth grade I guess I was kind af like the rest ofthe kids. l'd get in trouble once in a while. I was a little shy and used to get embarassed on iust about anything. LONNIE WEISHAAR--I did not like girls, in fact, the name was not in my vocabulary. I have changed my mind since then. l would like to be a teacher naw. I iust don't want to be a priest now. STEVE ALLEN--Sa many interesting things have happened to me that l've often thought of writing a book. Right now, I plan on retiring from high school and live my remaining days at sunny Normandy-Missouri University studying a little iournolism. CHARLES RUHMANN- things appear different ta me'-such as girls and girls and girls and things along this line. CHUCK SCHROEDER--I was very shy and afraid of girls. I haven't changed, they still scare me. At present I plan on attending St. Louis U . and maioring in law. When I graduate, I will become a corporation lawyer, and retire at the age of 30. PAUL SONTHEIMER--I wanted ta raise a thriving cow-town to supreme heights. Under my leadership we would approach Utopia, and excel economically, socially, and politically. Then after this city, I planned to expand to larger cities, states, and countries. l was a supreme egotist. Why? because it's the best go. I have not changed. rr 'fn-1'.GwfW : . , , . , ii riff' 0,23 , 2935. eggs' ,i its ' my ' 31 3 - -A Q lr: as ' ig 4 i 1? 1 I Steve Hall I want to get out of School.
