Aquiniles Make Closed Retreats All students at St. Thomas Aquinas make a closed retreat each year. The freshmen make a one-day closed retreat, upperclassmen make two- and three-day retreats. Students go in groups of sixty or seventy to nearby retreat houses where talks given by the directors, readings read during meals, prayers spoken from the heart, and silence grabbed from! the noisy world's grip prepare the way for new insights into the meaning of their life. Experiences of this sort are often a iolt to the ego. But courage and grace from the reception of the sacra- ments help many ta put off the old man, and put on the new. Music Groups Perform AI Christmas Concert The Concert Choir, singing during the candlelight portion of the Christmas Concert, participates with the entire Music Department in presenting the school's Christmas Concert. Aquinas Concert Choir Enlertains AI Benefit With c little bit of ingenuity, you're bound to find someplace to hang a gown, discovers Steve Hull.
